Whistler 2013 Sparkling Merlot

This full-bodied Merlot was aged in American oak for 20 months.  After the addition of the yeast, the bottle was riddled and disgorged using the traditional methodé after one year.

Scents of ripe plum, cherry, cacao and mocha are followed by luscious red fruits in the glass.

Oak and tannin provide firm structure while the fine bead of bubbles adds freshness.

Cellar until 2021.
